If you're as happy with the Rega as you seem to be, then why bother switching? I am buying the Ayre only because I don't know better either and I need a player. If I already had a satisfactory CD player I would stay put, but I don't. You never know for sure about these opinions. They're just one person. I went by a large concensus of opinion. Still this was the first I ever heard a Rega compared with really top end players. It could be the best one at a bargain.Kurt
