I have just seen the thread further down, sorry for the repetition but my head was in a bit of a whirl!
The comment about the Saturn being a better player worries me, not because I don't rate the Saturn, I own one!
Maybe I am being swayed on cost a bit here.
In the UK the Ayre is 50% more than the Rega Saturn and I guess I am expecting something substantial in performance upgrade for that.
The Ayre also has balanced outputs which the Rega doesn't, another thing which apparantly works well with my Pre-Amp.I am in a real quandry here!
