The DP-55 was voiced specifically for the E-210. It was never intended for use with active line-stages (YMMV). For your needs, I recommend the DP-55v/65 series.

But... Accuphase players use Sony transport's that will eventually fail, and Sony no longer makes or supports them. However, they do have a whole array of digital inputs.

You can either purchase a player and use it until the transport quites, then continue to use it as a DAC, or you could find and purchase a DC-61 DAC.

Either way, their DAC's are quite abit more accurate and linear than the competitions.
