I used to experience what you describe in a Sony sacd player (a cheap one), but so far (less than a month) nothing like that in the Tosh. Not getting 100% of my playing time, since Im also using still a pioneer sacd/dvd-a player. I have this desire to take the Tosh, buy the $90 Insignia stereo receiver, buy the (now outratgeously overpriced at $80/pair) insignia speakers and see just how bad/good it sounds. (or a T-amp using its volume control as the only preamp). Take care!
