Been using the benchmark dac 1 with the Yamaha DVD player S550. It actually sounds real good compared with the rotel cd player used as a stransport.My digital cable is a diy silver 75 digital cable.
the dac 1 is quite sensitive to power cables being used. It also reacts well to power conditioner.
