Mod Music Hall MMF CD25 or buy a Jolida JD100?

I currently have an original Music Hall MMF-CD 25 player that I could spend $700 to mod it completely to level 3 or buy a used Jolida modded level 1 player for a few bucks more. Which player would give me the best sound quality?
