Hello :)I love my Monarchy M24 DAC and I use a Creek CD50mk2 (which is basically identical to the Creek Classic CD Player) and it makes a fabulous transport. I'm using a Kimber Illuminations Digital Coax cable between the two.
The performance of this pair exceeds the performance of the Creek CD50mk1 as a transport, and standalone, and the Toshiba 3950 as a transport. The difference is not subtle.
While this system is not 'quite' up to the levels of the Bluenote Stibbert, lacking the organic quality I've simply never heard anywhere else, it is more fun, dynamic, and engaging than the Stibbert standalone. For kicks I hope to try the Stibbert as a transport in the near future.
If you are looking for an incredibly musical, engaging, fun to listen to setup the Creek and the Monarchy are a lovely pair.
