Buy a Brand name Toshiba's as mentioned does a V good DVD playback as good as any and that's saying some... NO need to spend more, regardless of what some Dorky Magazine Hack claims... this week :-)
Buy at someplace like Best Buys where there is a 30 day no questions return policy.
V nice feature.. in case the unit you buy has any sort of issue.
