If your Pioneer is causing such noticeable problems I doubt a jitter reduction box would sort it out to be honest.Unless that's definitely the route you want to take, you may want to try swapping your DVD player for a friends for an hour or two to see if any problem is replicated, just to be sure it's not your CDP's digital input or the digital lead between the two.
I'm assuming there's some reason you don't just play CDs through the CDP and DVDs through the Pioneer?
