So , the Maxell are made in Japan ? I live in a medium sized midwest city and can't find made in Japan CD-R's anywhere :( .As far a the dyes , I can't remember the names of the different dyes , just that they changed , plus the country of manufacture. I remember the first time I brought home Sony Suprema's that I had been using for 3 years and they wouldn't play , then noticing they were sourced from Taiwan (sourced from CMC) instead of Japan and wondering "what was I going to now ?" .
