I thought you said that about the SC 2 and 3? Just yanking you Dave.cporada, do remember that while the unit is on a bench to have all moving parts cleaned and lubed. An old buddy of mine would make this a standard practice when doing any mods or repairs. He wondered how much of a difference was due to the actual mods themselves or simply deoxydizing volume controls, balance controls, input selectors, cleaning, verifying lazer output and lubing moving parts versus the actual mod. So we did a comparison of before and after on a vintage 70s integrated amp. Guess what, the after, with no mods, sounded much cleaner than before.
