Never been that happy with my CD80, always felt a bit thin sounding
& fatiguing to listen to.
I will be auditionibg a few players, starting this weekend.
Any suggestions in the £1000 ($2000) area?
One I want to listen to is the Naim CD5i. Not really interested in a top loader, but will listen.
Mainly interested in a full bodied sound with a strong bass.
Don't want anything with a laid back or recessed sound.
