If you don’t find something, try breaking up a cdp w/ a built in volume control into separate pieces. Something like 1) any consumer grade player & a dac w/ a built in volume control (Benchmark, Monarchy, Larvy) or 2) any consumer grade player & a dac ( Zhaolu, Lite, Paradisea) & a passive volume control (Promitheus) maybe a better way to go.
