Tripath Digital Amp driving Vandersteen 2's in small room??

Upsamplers, DACs, jitter, shakes and analogue withdrawals, this is it.

After my great success with the Toshiba 3990, I'm on a roll to try new, cheap technology. I have used ASL Wave 8's to drive my Vandersteens and they seemed OK. My Hafler Transnova, of course, drives them fine. Any thoughts on whether the Super T Tripath Digital Amp at 11 watts would be up to the task, and guesses as to what the resulting sound might be? Thanks!
