I had a new Tjoeb for 2-3 years, found it to be vastly over-rated. There's a lot of snake-oil mixed in with that two hundred dollar Marantz deck. I have had an Apollo for about two weeks now. Comparing the two...you really can't. The Tjoeb just does not punch in the same weight class as the Rega. The Tjoeb is a good to middling cd player. The Apollo is a breakthrough (don't believe me, read the reviews) that sounds like a cross between a good cd player and a nice turntable.-m
