turn it off, you just burn up your electrolytics

Try leaving it on all day and you will hear some change but, leaving your equipment on all the time especially if there are power tubes involved is crazy. You are just cooking your gear, period. If it doesn't warm up in a couple hours, it isn't going to. Electrolytics and other parts have a limited life when exposed to heat and since most people run them near their limits for voltage and heat when running, you just shorten the life of your equipment.
Want a tweak, get a green pen, an electromagnet, various goos and cleaners, don't fry your gear.
