I bought a Rega Apollo on EBay, and it sounded OK.
It couldn't better my current CD player with various Interconnects, until I tried Van Den Hul "The First" IC's.
Now it sounds great.I know there are too many variables with Hi-FI, but I think finding the right IC for a system, is particularly important with CD players.
My previous CD player really sounded the best with a Chord Solid IC.
