Maybe I am missing somerthing here. Why are you using a DAC to feed the TACT which is a digital room correction/preamp device. Why don't you go digitally (SPDIF or AES/EBU) from the transport into the TACT? You would skip two converters (DAC and ADC) and presumably get a much clearer, more dynamic sound.
