you don't need a 75ohm cable ....a lot depends on the reciecer chip and what the designers decided will be the impedance the reciever sees.a quick look inside will tell you or if its,rca, bnc or xlr connection each has its own charatoristic impeadance eg xlr 110 ohms.
I've found on short lengths [less than 1m] you can get away with a simple twisted pair .....but if you run long distances the creation of reflections from mismatched impedances will have an appreciable effect.
you can use a pulse transformer ...as many top units already do this.
My prefference is an unshielded tightly twisted pair of solid core silver [diy build] which I often buffer to 75ohms.
If you use rca socket your on a hiding to nothing as nobody make a true 75ohm connector....those that try, once you've attached a cable to it things are all over the place again.
so what am I saying ......its a suck it and see. But a simple diy cable can save you a load of dosh.
