Hi sboez23,The initial batches of Apollos indeed had teething problems with the controls. They tended to freeze when any controls were pressed while the machine was initializing after the CD cover was closed.
This has been rectified with a software upgrade in the newer Apollos to disable the controls while the machine is initializing. The Saturn had its release delayed to ensure no further glitches appeared.
So far, my machine has performed very well indeed. The controls function perfectly, and the CD tracking and error correction is better than in my old Jupiter. Certain damaged discs which skip all over the place with the Jupiter are now playable with the Saturn.
