Re: The END of the ART DI/O

What a run it has been! The Mensa DI/O was awesome and gave me thousands of hours of great listening. It was by far the cheapest component in my system but it more than held its own. With it and a good transport (Cary 303) my system got to the point where it simply got out of the way and allowed me to immerse myself in the music.

Congrats, Wayne, for taking a humble and inexpensive DAC and turning it into a giant killer.

By the way, I think I saw a post before that the SuperDac (M Audio?) uses the same DAC chip as the DI/O and that it responds as well (or better?) to mods?
