Audio Note DAC -- DR.Cope

Okay I've moved this to the digital forum. Regarding the new entry level DAC.

I'm sure they're worth it -- after all I'm the guy who thinks the 3.1 one box player is the best digital system I've heard (and I've heard the top Linn, YBA, Mark Levinsons, EAD and Theta (the last two a few years ago though) among others...played after more "normal" designs it's abundantly clear to me that "COMPARATIVELY" AN Digital is dirt cheap when looking at the price tags of the LINN.
How much is the .75m connecting length? Also I read that some of the older DACs don;t work with many cd players input impedence or some such techie thing. My Cambridge Audio is basically the Disc Magic transport(slow drawer Teac) which was said to be pretty good back in the day.

It's hard to get back info on older no longer sold units but I found a few -- a DAC might be just the thing for it... http://www.innerear.on.ca/economist/cd6.html
