Home Digital Drive

Upsamplers, DACs, jitter, shakes and analogue withdrawals, this is it.

Re: Sony 507ESD

You got a nice find there. Late 80's ES players from Sony were very useful. Not the last word in musicality, but many other strengths are to be enjoyed; detail, lower-end slam is second to none and if you like an open, dynamic sound - there you have it.

Other aspects of this machine are impressive too; reads discs at lightning speed. When you select the next or previous track, there is only a fraction of a second delay. A fine array of features (not that you'll ever use them..) are on hand. And if you have a universal remote you can program it to work with a variety of Sony codes. If you have a Harmony remote you can make it operate every feature.
