Didn't post in the Title cuz it's not popular any more ;-)
But try a Toshibs DVD player the old trusty 3950 is really a V good video machine and Modded with the swenson mods is V impresive sounding... Much better than the bulk of dedicated Players currently available at at least 10x the price.
Mine easily rivals my Vinyl setup.. and it's a pretty decent one by most any yardstick.. Do note that the 'differences' in CD replay are surprisngly small.. diminishing returns are 'redefined' in this arena :-)....differences that make a carefull setting of VTA on a Cartridge seem absolutely huge by comparison.
Best possible advice is to NOT read the magazines :-)
