I know that the CD5i is not upgradable with the optional power supplies, but what other differences exist between it and the CD5x. The price difference is substantial at $1700 versus $3000, but I am wondering if the difference in sound quality is worth it. I have no reasonable way to audition these pieces. How do the Naims compare to the comparably priced Arcam CD33? Thanks a bunch!
