Firstly let me say I was stunned by your reply to my post, but I thank you for taking the time to make it. Now that I am aware of your presence I have taken the time to read some of your posts and find them informative. I did not expect such vitriole simply in answer to a question.

I would also value your knowledgeable opinion based on my initial question re choice of construction. I am also very fortunate in having audio equipment similar to yours and compliment you on your choices and would therefore respect your opinion based on the fact that you have very discerning taste and have taken the time to chose products carefully.

Secondly, I am not pretensious enough or stupid enough to think that the wire itself will sound good and my initial email to others for information included the following line: "" (it might still sound B?### awful based on the wire itself, otherwise we would all have the best and those rip off merchant wire manufacturers (not my words or opinion) would be out of business)"". I did not post this comment as I did not want to offend.

Thirdly, I requested an opinion based on valued experiance from persons like your self who have had both the oportunitry to experemant and also to compare there results and I base this on the fact that if it is good product and design it is good ie our choices of AvantGarde Trio's as a speaker(they are an exceptional speaker and sound good in most situations as opposed to computer speakers ( I do not want to denegrate some one elses product) which just sound bad.

Forthly your reiteration of the comment "rare and expensive" is unjustified as I would not lambast you or your comments without first understanding there relivance.
I, like you am fortunate enough to be able to afford the products I desire, albeit with hard work and much anguish re choice, and many arguments of opinion, therefore you would be aware that expensive is relative not only to cost but also to its ability to be procuered as I am sure like me you have had requests by some (not neccesaraly as respectful of your property)to borrow a CD to listen to on there system but have declined to allow based not on the cost of the CD but your ability to replace.

I therefore respectfully ask you your advice re my initial question as to which in your opinion is the better method of constucting an IC and why you think so and not a request for what the cable will sound like because that is an unknown.
