I finished my biwiring set of Chris VH cable with 27 pairs for the low and 9 pairs for the high last night, hooked them up and my amp turnt into a a god damn power heater. I then disconnected the tweeter cable at the speaker end (left them connected to the amp, maybe a mistake?), the heat problem was gone, but then a fuse blew.So I figure I have to use a Zobel network to get this to work. I have no clue which caps and resisters to use though, so a little help on this matter would be greatly appreciated. How do I determine which resister and cap to use? Also I will need 2 networks pr channel right?
I'm using a Rotel RB-981 power amp, and my speakers are 4ohm with a frequency response of ±3dB 35 Hz - 29 kHz.Hope someone can help me out.
