Would a large guage coaxial cable make a good sounding speaker cable, compared to, say, the Cat5 or CC89259 recipes? Here are the specifics of this cable:
11 AWG stranded bare copper center conductor
Foamed PE insulator
97% bare copper braided shield
PVC jacketOR how about Belden 9888 (a triaxial cable):
11 AWG stranded bare copper center conductor
Foam PE insulator
97% bare copper braid shield
Polyethylene insulator
80% bare copper braid shield
Polyethylene jacketOn this cable, I was thinking using the center conductor for the positive, the inner shield for the negative, and the outer shield grounded at the amp, and not connected at the speaker end.
What do you guys think?
Thanks!
