This is what I wrote:"What I use is a surplus *signal transfer* wire. At 65 cents a foot I thought it would be worth the shot and it turned out better than $14 a foot Kimber 8TC. Dollar for dollar, it really is the best wire me and my friends have used."
The above does not mean that the Kimber/military comparison was done by me. It states that a group of people have tried it and found it to be the best we've used, *dollar for dollar*. We know what systems we have and how the surplus wire has behaved in four different systems. We have a pretty good collective ideas of its performance, as the results have been consistent among us.
José got the military wire, tried it and put up his 8TC for sale in Audiogon. I have directed you to him since he was the one who actually compared them. I have not been denying this fact at all. I have been to his house to audition his system, so I know what he's about. The military wire also bested some $800 XLO biwire in Goodwine59's system. I have compared the wire to Pure Note Epsilon, the Ridge Street Audio and my previous homebrew.
You need to sharpen your reading comprehension skills and stop reacting with out of place (and stupid, in my opinion) comment(s) and attitude like "I was in the military...". So what?
