As a matter of fact, your four braid does not look like the same braiding pattern, but too hard to tell from the pictures.

It's not the same as mine. Kimber's braid is identical to the Inter-8 Weave, which is basically two interwoven twisted pairs each at 90 degrees to each other with each sharing the same center axis of the cable.

Mine is also basically two interwoven twisted pairs, except that they alternately weave about the center axis on two axes. A more *ahem* "advanced" design you might say. :)

The Kimber/MSC is the red/white. Mine is the blue/white.
