I doubt that Bob has heard any of our current speakers.
(He lives in an area without a Joseph Audio dealer, and I remember that he came down to NYC to hear the speakers about 4 years ago - at that time the RM50si was our top model) I think the new models represent a significant advance, while retaining the strengths of the previous designs.

Of course, it's usually the speakers that get the glory or the blame.
Not having heard the setup in question, it's hard to say what the listener might be objecting to. I've heard setups transformed by changing transformer taps, removing power conditioning (or as at
HE 2002, adding an Equi=tech balance power box)...etc.

The role of a dealer is to assist the customer in identifying and selecting the sound they desire by guiding them through the
different possibilities. I'm sure that any of our dealers would be
happy to substitute cables or electronics to help dial in the sound
to match an individual's preferences.
