It is common for cables to be constucted with an asymetrical geometry.For example, a shield can be connected to ground at one end of the cable and left floating at the other end.
Typically these cables sound best when the ground end is connected to the source and are so marked. This has nothing to do with 'directional flow'.
So, as you ask others for hard data, I ask you to have some knowledge of the subject matter before you post a question.
