A few analogies, Norm:I've had a few flight classes, less than 100 hours of flight time, yet I'm passionate about becoming a commercial airline pilot. I must be qualified.(Care to fly with me?)
I rarely listen to live music, yet I'm passionate. I must be qualified.
I have a lo-fi audio system, yet I'm passionate. I must be qualified.
I have hearing loss, yet I'm passionate. I must be qualified.
I've never been exposed to a real high end system, yet I'm passionate. I must be qualified.
I live hundreds of miles away from the nearest dealer, don't attend trade shows, and have little contact (in a listening setting) with others, yet I am passionate. I must be qualified.
I always wanted to drive a Formula One car, I drive a Subaru, yet I'm passionate. I must be qualified.
I could go on and on.
