I don't visit this forum often, but I noticed Jena Labs name and read the thread.Jennifer and Michael are friends of mine and are good people.
This hobby is VERY subjective and we all have different systems and different tastes folks.
I am NOT going to make any comments regarding the cable debate, aside from saying that I think it becomes real easy to fling mud on the internet and we should all try to be a bit more respectful of others.
This is a great place to share information and when we reduce ourselves to name calling and bickering, it is unfortunate and reduces everyone's credibility.
I fully support the original poster's right to say what he thinks about the cables that he listened to. Of course they are HIS opinions, in HIS system - and that is all that anyone can comment about. We ALL have different preferences and that is OKAY.
Let's all just show a bit more respect for each other. Some of us are in the audio business and it is how we make a living. Many of us here at the Asylum are hobbyists. It is very easy to be upset when there is the perception that someone is criticizing the work of your own hands. This is especially true when it is your livelihood.
All I am saying guys is, let's try to play nice.
The Asylum is about freedom of speech, lets just not degrade ourselves by this sort of bickering.
Respectfully yours,
Dan W.
