The Oval 12s are very nice. So are the Chris VHs. The Oval 12 have a different sound, but I feel the Chris VHs (Which are an improvement over the twisted twins) are a bit more neutral, and the high end sounds less harsh with the VHs. But the Ovals are nice, and if you have more money than time, they might be a better solution. The VHs are time consuming, and people complain of blisters from ALL that braiding. I didn't blister, but most do. They are quite a cable though, I just squeezed a little more performance from them by separating the biwire, 9 pairs to the tweet and 18 pairs to the woofer/mid. Sounds fantastic! Highly recommended, and time consuming. Get a harem together to help you braid. Hey! that explains Kimber in Utah! ;-)
