At least two dedicated branch circuits. One for analog equipment and the other for digital equipment. It is said to decouple the digital equipment power supplies from the analog power supplies.Probably the worse branch circuit wiring method is the 3 wire multi wire branch circuit though. Two Hot separate circuits with a shared, common, neutral.
The balanced loads of the 120V power supplies of one 120V Line 1 is in series with the other the Line 2. (fed by 240V) Only the unbalanced load returns on the shared neutral.
