On another note | I'd love to offer an acknowledgment of thinks of which certain Asian cultures have offered to make Western civilization lives that much easier | remember there was a time between 1963 and early to mid 70's where buying Japanese gear was frowned upon, not anymore I'd have to say.
Asian Creations ( Contributions ) Towards The Advancement In The Reproduction To The Audio Arts | Not To Be Confused With Junk.As I have always | continue to see said reality. As the collective minds of the entire Asian culture on a whole gave us the talented people whom bought fourth the companies in which I'm able to recall as listed here:
In no particular order except what comes to mind.
47 Labs | Accuphase | Acoustic Masterpiece | Antique Sound Labs | Acrolink | Akai | Aiwa | Akiko Audio | Allnic Audio | Ancient Audio | Ayon | Aurender | Audio Replas | Audio-Techina |Acoustic System International | Audio Sensibility | Audio Tekne | Audio-gd | Auralic | Aune | Bada | Bakoon | Cayin | CEC | Denafrips | Denon | Enleum | Esoteric Sound | ExaSOUND | fo.Q | Furutech | Hana Cartridges | JVC | Kinki | Leben | Kieski | Koetsu | Line Magnectic | Nakamichi | Luxman | Lyra | Mystere | Onkyo | Pioneer | Panasonic | PrimaLuna | Robert Koda | Sansui | Shelter | SoTM | Chocoo | SMSL | Spark Audio | Sony | Spec | Teac | Technics | Topping | Usher Speakers | Vincent | Aurum Cantus | Red Rose | Audio Note Kits | Vas Audio | Yamaha | Yaqin | Yamamoto Sound Craft | Shindo Labs | | Air Tight | Audio Note Kondo | a host of others, of which said list would read like a who's who of modern creation after WWll, so once again what's your point, clown?.
To my mind Asians have created the best sounding cartridges | tube amplification | cabling looms on the planet. Ask yourself, where would the world be without these creative souls..., as it relates to audio gear?.
Where are the the American RCA | Binding Post | Power Cord Connectors?, other than Cardas Audio | WiteWorld?, where are the domestically made Vacuum Tubes other than WE trying to make a comeback based upon their past glories? | Where are cartridges other than Grado Labs?, or the variants of B&O offered by Soundsmith?, or the various attempts by others like Zu Audio modified Denon designs from the 60s?, even most of the heretic brands from the mid 60s | 70s aren't even owning by American companies anymore | and not everyone can afford Dan D'Augustin Momentum amps | now the bass bass all over the place Wilson Audio speakers, of which I've heard both brands care of Paragon Sight & Sounds located in Ann Arbor, Michigan, so once again I at the very least have reference points of which to base how I hear things.
And don't get me stated on Asian produced cars versus domestic makes | as I gladly own and drive a Subaru | Toyota | Honda | Infiniti | Mazda | Nissan, any day of the week compared to todays USA makes other than Buick, of which these were built with pride, of which I can't say can be claimed by many others, and being as I reside outside of Detroit, home of the Big Three in the auto industry. You couldn't give me one of their cars for free, they simply aren't reliable.
Your biases aren't mine | as I'm willing to learn through listening | not talking or writing BS about stuff one is clueless to. If I hear anything as it relates to audio, be it electronics | cables | speakers that are bettered by something far cheaper, those items aren't going to hang around our space for long..., I'm simply not one to buy into the mindset if it cost more, it's better, truth is it's often based upon greed that people are ( and always have ) searched elsewhere for better value as well as sound from imported gear | cabling and so on, freedom of choice, no!.
Once again I've to trust what I hear | not base what I love based upon another's opinion ( unless it's someone I know, which has similar taste, then I'm all ears ) or cost. It ain't going to happen in this lifetime.
