I agree on the battery supply. The cable isn't going to change much but a battery will be better than a cheap switching supply. Try any phone charger battery you may already have before spending anything on one.

I use an Anker 24kmaH for my Raspberry Pi and Topping E30 DAC and it lasts for about 6-8 hours powering both at once. I almost never have it on for that long and I don't think I've ever run out of charge. When I turn my system off the battery automatically charges so it is always ready. I also had a second identical battery that my daughter carried with her and she would just swap them when she left the house so she always had her phone charged.
