Still using a Cardas Golden Ref Phono Cable in my VPI HR-X w/ Fatboy Unipivot upgrade w/ a Benz Micro Gullwing SLR cartridge. In some setup this cables will sound dark and has too much warmth and bass that be boomy/bloated at times ,in my system/setup its sound just right .
