FWIW I recently made up a 3 meter Viborg VP1606 Power Cable for my amplifier. It's been written about here. It's about 9.5 AWG, and because of that it's stiff and a bit tough to work with, but reasonably priced so worth the effort. I let it break in by running my computer for a few weeks. It's a clear improvement over a Supra cable I was using.
