Your hearing could be different in each ear, mine CERTAINLY is. Wouldn't it be very difficult to determine the sound for any musical tones that are staged center? You should have swapped sides to see if the right side is now 'dull'. If so, slide a fancy sleeve over the walmart cables and market them for $1,000.
