Thanks for that, Duster.
I have a SAF issue that's bogged down the search. I've seen nearly all those designs at one link or another over the past few weeks, but so far no traction with her on any of them.
She mostly kept her tongue when I brought home my Acoustats, and the trade off has been that she has veto power over the rest of the room décor. The main record storage currently is an Eastlake-style, antique armoire that we repurposed to hold LPs, and the rest of the wooden furniture in the room is likewise antique oak.
Again, thank you. That was very thoughtful of you.
Best
The proposed space for new storage is in front of a window, and want something low enough so as not to block the window. Something in the 30" - 34" tall, and up to 38" wide. Problem so far with repurposing another antique piece is depth. Virtually every antique I've found that meets the height, width, color and style requirements isn't deep enough to hold an LP. Will probably buy some throw-away particleboard junk as an interim until I/we get lucky and find the perfect piece.
