You can try the Belden 1701LC which contains 4 twisted pairs of 24 AWG solid core conductors in teflon insulation. Besides the Kimber TCSS, It's the only teflon insulated non-silver coated wire that I know of which can be had quite cheaply. The twisted pairs are contained in a PVC outer jacket/sleeve that can be very easily stripped off. As hook up wire it sounds quite smooth and extended. Give it a try - not much to loose at less than $0.2/ft per conductor.
