Hi All,

Here I'm once again to share an article on my continued search for various means of altering the sonics of my system via cabling of different types of conductors or grading as it relates to the purity within.

As someone who has spent the last five years voicing my system as a whole, I've come to be very very content with the electronic and speaker side of things......, yet have found that by using this or that brand of pure OCC Silver or Copper, as well as Silver Plated Copper as far as ICs and USB cables have gone, there's enough there to make me aware that sonic differences can be had if selected carefully....., and to a point where one doesn't have to change the components themselves.

Here I was thinking that I had fine tuned my system with a certain grade of silver or silver plated copper, as I had not felt anything made of copper would ever truthfully compare......, well I'm here to say this statement came back to bite me on the ass ........, enter the Jena Labs Trio Plus IC made of what seems to be her secret mixture of very well designed wires and proven methods of using USA made RCA connectors by the likes of Cardas Audio, after what I'd gather took her years in understanding how to bring out the sonic merits of each collectively to have created a sound in which I now hear and believe is the closet I've heard to date when it comes to purity of the musical notes.

Having received these last week, I merely installed them into my system and allowed them to settle in over the course of 72+ hours, in which yesterday was the first time I sat down to listen....., as is my usual case, it took a mere 3-5 tracks to know that something very very very special was going on, so much some I immediately starting googling for any and everything on this line, and while I'm to assume that David Robinson the editor over on Positive-Feedback ( back in paper foam ) might've been the first to acknowledge Jennifer's wonderful creations......, I'm at awe as to see more people aren't aware of her wares, and while I did manage to spot countless threads on Audiogon......., much like the Italian company ' Neutral Cable ' where I mentioned my passion for their Reference I [ improved ] USB cable.

This strikes me as an injustice to someone whom has obviously spent years and years researching into the best possible manner of having created one of the very best made sonically correct ICs I've ever heard......, I'm talking a great sense of stillness | calmness and silence in between and around each note or artist as if each where placed within their own recording envelope. I've never heard cymbals or rim shots displayed with such unraveling effects as I'm listening to at this current moment......, and while some might be taken by the fake sense of what I've come to refer to as the " Hi-Fi Sound " in which detailing or resolution are done in a manner which focuses upon separating the notes from the background in a very unnatural manner as to make one believe they're listening to a greater sense of musicality......, I tend to believe many simply aren't tuned in the the signatures in which one becomes all to aware while attending live events.

Here I'm talking once again....., beauty, textural integrity, tonal shadings laid bare in such a matter I'd imagine one has to be from another planet if they can't hear | feel the sincerity behind how the notes are even handled here. And while I do pride myself on having a decent enough ear to distinguish the differences between accuracy | resolution and a false sense of detailing ( if you will ) I'm not hearing vocalist presented in a manner in which every single phasing technique shines through in all its glory. The sense of transparency and cohesiveness I'm hearing is quite impressive to say the least....

I'm talking weight | extension | clarity | layers removed | separation of notes, with an added realism of tonal shadings I'd have to say are an absolute first to my mind.

All this to say......, here I feel within my very core is a designer whom has crafted and perfected her products in such a matter in which deserves music lovers ( note I didn't say component lover......, you know the types I'm referring to, whom seemingly collect components as opposed to adding to their music collections ) and then merely taking the time to readjust your mindset as to how music was meant to be heard or felt, I believe you'll get it.

My heartfelt thanks to both my local dealer Andy ( Quint ) as well as Jennifer for allowing me to audition and finally come to one very very simply conclusion........, they're here to stay, and the Creator knows I haven't used that term with a lot of brands I've audition or owned over the years....., and through the powers of borrowing from friends around the globe as well as the Cable Company, I'd wager I've heard my share over the course of 13 years now.

These cables have sonics which have to be heard | felt to truthfully understand why I felt the need ( no make that duty ) to write this...... Up next is a pair of her speaker cables, at which point I seriously believe I'll be that much closer to self enlightenment.

Until next time.
