Thanks for sharing the link, DaveT. If you carefully folded-over the backing in order to stack the two foil conductors together, you could approximate the design of a Goertz speaker cable. However, with only the equivalent of a pair of 16 AWG conductors, in most cases the product won't fit the criteria of an audiophile application. It would be interesting to know how the design might perform, in any case.
