Not unlike other audiophile upgrades and improvement efforts, if you have not done this already, you might consider upgrading the AC outlet installed at the wall, and the power cord that connects it to a new or used power line conditioner at the same time. I would suggest that you determine a target budget level for a power line conditioner purchase, and factor in the cost of an Audio Grade AC outlet, and audiophile-quality power cord to include within the budget.
You might think of it in a similar way as I did when I once shopped for a preamplifier. I first considered the price of an audiophile-quality power cord to be included within the overall target price point, and found an ideal preamplifier for my particular wants/needs at an affordable cost-level by choosing a used preamplifier. Being able to enjoy a used preamplifier connected to AC delivery via a stellar audiophile power cord, plugged into an Audio Grade AC outlet was exactly what I sought for a better performing audio system.
