I agree. Simply keeping *unshielded* interconnects away from running along side of AC power cords; crisscrossing the two cable types at an angle if they must be near each other is a safe-bet to avoid EMI noise. For RFI issues, a very tightly twisted, close tolerance geometry, resonance dampened, Teflon insulated 21-24 AWG *solid core* OCC copper *unshielded* interconnect cable with premium high-performance connectors is my interconnect type of choice...
