The presentation of the Silflex Glass optical cable is still as impressive as I previously reported. In fact, I bought a second one to use with a high performance active Toslink splitter to keep the optical signal via Silflex Glass within my computer audio system, while also transmitting the optical signal to my main audio system via a Monoprice "35ft Premium Optical Toslink Cable w/ Metal Fancy Connector" of which, while presenting nowhere near the high performance transparency of the Silflex Glass, and at such a silly low-price of $9.91, sounds rather good for a being plastic optical fiber cable. While a 3ft Silflex Glass priced at $69 is not inexpensive as far as the cost of Toslink cables tend to be, it's still what I consider big bang bargain-priced, since it's a rare Toslink indeed that can compete with high performance digital coaxial cables, and can outright slay low-priced lackluster digital coaxial cables and mundane Toslink cables, IME.
