I believe the NRG 10 PC is non shielded.... Great for power amps and preamps.A CDP, as a rule, works best with a shielded PC.
It helps control hash, RFI/EMI, from entering a CDP from the mains and helps prevent hash, RFI/EMI, from the CDP going back out on the mains.
Also helps stop radiated RFI/EMI from the PC crossing over onto ICs close to the PC.If memory serves me right the Shunyata Diamondback PC is a shielded PC.
