This is a good question because I would bet that there is probably a 1000% (yes a thousand) markup on the ultra high end cables. All my cables are pretty much hidden so I care less how they look, it's the sound I care about. I would also never spend more than 200.00 used for ANY cable, power, interconnect or digital. I did spend a grand on my speaker cables but only because I have 20 foot runs, otherwise it would have been within the 200.00 each range.
